Cilento DiVino in Pioppi
The first edition of CILENTO DIVINO was held in Pioppi on 28 and 29 April 2017, an event that combined the tradition of the Mediterranean Diet with the new trend of the territory: the quality wine sector.
The aim is to share the passion for the sea and Cilento products, to give the right value, through tasting and knowledge, to the excellence of this noble territory.
The first edition of CILENTO DIVINO took place by the sea, on the Pioppi beach and it was a real success. The intent was to create an environment where curiosity could be satisfied, the excellence of the territory could be known, and wine and wine critics could be listened to.
Exceptional partners were “the Italian Sommelier association” delegation Cilento and Vallo di Diano, which assisted the producers in the tastings. The Mediterranean Diet Association Ancel Keys of Pioppi was also present with the intervention of Pasquale Strazzullo, professor of the University Federico II of Naples and president of the “Italian Society of Human Nutrition”. In addition, there are several wineries present that have had the opportunity to present their wines.
Finally some of the most renowned local restaurants. Among the chefs also Alessandro Feo, winner in 2017, of the bronze medal at the Italian cuisine championships in Rimini.
It was a beautiful day full of culture, sharing and friendship.
